Aisling Bea

Aisling was born March 16 1984, on the island of Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's most successful and popular comedians. The comedian has appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan (born on 16 March 1984) who is also known by the name Aisling bea Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan, is an Irish comedian as well as a writer and actress. After playing bits on a number of Irish and British television series from 2009 Bea was able to begin her stand-up comedian in 2011. From 2012 on, Bea was appearing on sitcoms or sketch comedy. In the wake of her success in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for a variety of panel show. Between 2016 and 2017, she was a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats' team, and also a part-time participant on the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. She was the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister who is named Sinead. In 2012, she was the second female to be awarded the So You Believe you're Funny award. Bea's surname is in honour of her father who passed away. Aisling Cliodhnadh, born the 16th of March, 1984 in Kildare Town, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian took his life at age three. He was a horse vet. Bea wasn't told the specifics of his passing to death until she was 13 years old. The stage name she chose was Bea to honor her father who passed away. Bea also wrote an article published in The Guardian on her family's suicide story. Bea (and her sister Sinead) was raised within the home of Helen Moloney, who was a school instructor and trainer of jockeys who was a professional jockey. Their parents were both obsessed with racing and horses. Bea was a child an instructor in the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she did not want to pursue racing as a career. Instead she loved the artistic arts.
